I have received a great amount of
encouragement and help from a few friends who cannot go with out mention,
Neil Foggo GAvA, former fellow aviator and Full Member of the Guild who
has over many years offered tremendous advice on my work.
Phil Mcginness AGAvA and every one else in the Northern Area of the
Guild of Aviation Artists, Graham Henderson for publishing some of my
work, but in particular Kevin Moffat whose advice have helped improve my techniques. David Shepherd, OBE, VPGAvA who I was privileged to meet and
entertain in connection with a Forres Aviation Memorial. My Art Teacher at Sydney Smith High School, Marlene Grant (Nee Woodhouse)
allowed me to do a CSE during my 6th form studies as I had not taken Art
formally during the previous years. (I received a CSE Grade C in 1973!)
